IntroductionVirtua Fighter is a 3D fighting game series developed by Sega. Originating from the arcade, it has been ported to many different consoles. It is considered the first polygon-based fighting game, the Tekken series being released about 2 years after. Character of the Month
Lei-Fei, a Chinese monk who debuted in Virtua Fighter 4. Lau received orders from the Chinese emperor to eliminate all powerful martial arts techniques. Lei-Fei accepted the mission in hopes of testing his skills against the mighty Ko'en-Ken style. When he eventually found Lau Chan, he approached Lau as a promising student, but impatient to learn, he attacked Lau and Lau was only saved by the appearance of his daughter, Pai. Lei-Fei failed to learn Ko'en-Ken and his only choice was to develop the strength required to defeat anyone who came after him. Now he is ready to enter the Fifth World Fighting Tournament. |
